CYBEX Arc Trainer featured on
National Georaphic's "Factory Floor"
The award winning CYBEX Arc Trainer has again captured national attention because of its leading edge innovation and quality in design. The Arc Trainer, a totally unique exercise machine used in health clubs and fitness facilities across the globe, was recently featured on National Geographic’s “Factory Floor with Marshall Brain", a weekly adventure that explores the world of product design, manufacturing and testing.
A team from National Geographic visited CYBEX’s new 280,000 square foot manufacturing plant in Owatonna, MN to learn about the science behind the design and building of the Arc Trainer. They explored CYBEX everyday operations, detailing the intricate engineering and manufacturing processes including the use of advanced robotics and industry leading technologies.
The science behind the Arc Training advantage and greater calorie burn is the Arc pattern of motion, and its versatility. With the Arc Trainer’s broad incline and resistance range, consistency in proper positioning, and superior biomechanics you have greater versatility than any other cross-trainer on the market. And with correct load application, workouts burn calories and strengthen muscles without putting strain on the joints.
The CYBEX Arc Trainer is a workout designed to achieve each user’s personalized fitness goals. To learn more on the Arc Trainer and other CYBEX products, visit
