This summer Spain was the host location for the Beach Volleyball World Championships. There were 75 male and 70 female teams battling it out in an exciting tournament for the number one spot in each category. The event was held at the Les Fonts Magigues Montjuic, Barcelona. Both guests and players had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with CYBEX equipment at a tent fully stocked with our equipment set up by our distributor Image Fitness. The winners in the men’s category were the German pair of Brink-Dieckmann. The women’s category was won by the American team of Branagh-Young.

Barcelona Gathering

Barcelona, Spain was the place to be for the CYBEX International Distributor network the week of September 15th. Over 120 people from more than 40 countries came together for the CYBEX World Distributor Meeting at the prestigious Hotel Juan Carlos I, one of the “Leading Hotels of the World”.

The group spent three days hard at work with intense training on products, marketing, leadership and sales skills. We learned leadership skills by “Thriving on Chaos” from Chris Nels from the Tom Peters Group and “Focused Sales Approach” by Alberto Katz.

CYBEX launched the new family of 750 products and re-launched the VR1 Duals giving everyone a chance to see and play on the new equipment which received an overwhelming positive response from a very enthusiastic group of country partners. Everyone got some well deserved fun time as well with a cocktail party at the beach, a cycling tour of Barcelona and some delicious Spanish cuisine.
