Fitness is becoming a family affair as men, women, teens, and even younger children embrace the importance of regular exercise in leading longer, healthier lives. As a result, YMCA—the organization that has long been at the center of community health—must now create fitness centers that satisfy the needs of a diverse population. The mission is to serve everyone from serious performance athletes to the expanding silver sneaker crowd and the physically impaired.

CYBEX delivers the high performance strength training and cardio equipment that is needed to offer everyone in your community a rewarding exercise experience. And keep them coming back for more. Our products are a direct result of research into the biomechanics of exercise and we draw on more than 50 years of manufacturing experience to build fitness equipment that’s designed to perform and built to last.

Total Access

Total Access, our line of fitness products designed to be accessible to the physically impaired but which does not exclude other exercisers is an excellent option to serve diverse population. This means you only need to buy one set of equipment that everyone can use. For example, the Arc has locking foot pedals, our bikes are easy to step through, and our treadmills have a low step-up height, making them ideal for seniors. CYBEX products accommodate body heights from 5’2” to 6’8”.

CYBEX has been a fitness partner of YMCAs since anyone at CYBEX can remember. CYBEX has set up Y facilities in Atlanta, Boston, Charlotte, Cleveland, Central Maryland, Houston, Miami, Philadelphia, Washington DC, Wichita and more. Over 650 installations in 43 states in the past 5 years.
