	Modern Factory CYBEX strength equipment is built in a brand new 340,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Owatonna, Minnesota that came on line in 2007. This is a world class operation without rival among commercial fitness manufacturers.

	Experienced Work Force CYBEX has been producing commercial strength products in middle America with our seasoned and dedicated work force for over 25 years. Our employees' workmanship and pride shows in every piece of exercise equipment that leaves our facility.

	The Latest in Automation We use the latest in lasers and robotics to produce superior weld quality, an automobile-like finish, and "furniture grade" upholstery. The consistency of product performance CYBEX is known for is the result of our substantial and ongoing investment in manufacturing automation.

	Premium Raw Materials Starting with the best raw materials is critical to producing the best quality finished product. CYBEX purchases steel direct from the mills and our powder paint formulations developed with DuPont repeatedly demonstrate the highest levels of performance in the commercial fitness club environment.

	Build to Order At CYBEX, we don't start to build until 10 working days before the customer wants their products shipped. No old equipment sitting around in inventory. And... build to order means that every product is built to the customer's color specifications in both frame and upholstery.

	Modern Factory Located on 36 acres, CYBEX strength equipment is built in a 340,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Owatonna, Minnesota that came on line in 2007. It is the size of eight football fields under one roof.
	Vertical integration Designed and built with the latest lean manufacturing and vertical integration philosophies in mind, raw steel enters one end the factory and a finished CYBEX product ships out the other. The vertically integrated approach to manufacturing allows for metal fabrication, welding, powder coating and assembly to be accomplished all internally under one roof.
	Build to Order Just days before shipment, product production begins. This is why CYBEX customers are delighted with our record of on-time delivery and short lead-times. And... controlling our own manufacturing means CYBEX is unmatched in our flexibility to customize colors, upholstery, and logos.

	Employees – Our number one resource At CYBEX, we believe that there is more to a world class factory than bricks and mortar. Our number one resource is our employees and our modern factory is designed to provide them a positive working environment. Features include a 175 seat education center for continuing education and employee training as well as a 3,000 square foot fitness center, which is available for on-site workouts. CYBEX people exercise on CYBEX equipment.
	Manufacturing Skills 200 hands-on employees build CYBEX strength products including welders, metal fabricators, powder coaters, assemblers. We make our own weld tooling with 12 employees dedicated to this task. This means consistency – a CYBEX part ordered five years from now is exactly the same as the part in the machine the day it was purchased. Our quality group uses a CCM machine to measure 1/1000th of an inch (a hair is 4/1000th of an inch!). These are the kind of tolerances that make our manufactured products the premium quality customers expect from the CYBEX brand.
	Safety The CYBEX safety record exceeds the industry average and is a record we are proud of. Because our employees are vital to producing what we believe is the world's finest fitness equipment, keeping those employees safe and productive is top priority. Our progressive safety programs are employee-driven, spearheaded by an employee-based safety committee with fifteen certified first responders. At the core is a monthly safety training program focused on providing a safe work environment for all CYBEX employees.

	Technology We are a multi-level vertically integrated manufacturer with the technology needed to deliver the quality our customers expect from the CYBEX brand. CYBEX controls the manufacturing process of our products from raw materials to shipment.
	Welding integrity and aesthetics Welding is at the core of our manufacturing at CYBEX. Virtually no manufactured fitness product is made without welding and we use robotic welding and the latest in Lincoln Pulse Technology. Pulse welding results in less spatter, less smoke and uses less heat which, coupled with a highly skilled workforce, consistently delivers a uniform and cosmetic weld.
	Paint finish that endures The automobile-grade finish of CYBEX strength products is the result of a $4 million dollar powder coating system. Advanced powder coating equipment combined with CYBEX proprietary powders developed with DuPont assures a high quality, long lasting paint finish. Whites do not turn dingy, metallics are not inconsistent, colors are shiny and true. On day one and for years to come.

	Raw Steel CYBEX purchases steel direct from the mills to support our own specifications and chemistry. This means the best grade materials are put to work with a superior manufacturing process, resulting in the highest levels of quality.
	Powder Paint CYBEX and DuPont have teamed up to develop proprietary powder paint formulations with unique characteristics that repeatedly demonstrate the highest levels of performance in the commercial fitness club environment.
	Upholstery CYBEX upholstery is not only designed to look good but is also built tough to endure the most rigorous of workouts. We achieve this level of Quality in our cushions by sewing with double stitched nylon bonded thread and using only the highest quality vinyl, wood and foam.

	Custom Frame Colors CYBEX powder coating capability and build to order manufacturing offers an almost limitless color selection. Our customers can select just the right color to work with the interior design of their club.
	Custom Upholstery In a marriage of automation and artisanship, CYBEX uses CNC routers and cutters to produce cushions that are a perfect fit for the frame. Upholstery is available in 15 standard and hundreds of optional colors. Double stitching with nylon bonded thread ensures strong, long lasting seams that stand up to the rigorous demands put to a commercial fitness product.
	Customer Logos Added to CYBEX upholstery choices, is our capability to custom embroider logos into the cushions themselves. It is easy to see why CYBEX is the industry leader in product customization.
