ADVANTAGE OF KNEELING

The kneeling user position is unique to the Cybex Eagle lateral raise and is designed to promote the correct biomechanics for proper training. The Eagle Lateral Raise positions the user's hands in front of - rather than beside - the body - reminiscent of a dumbell movement. The long input arm reduces stress at the shoulder while providing a more complete range of motion. Gas assisted knee pads adjust for user height.

TRAIN WHAT YOU EXPECT TO

The lateral raise is a machine intended to train the medial deltoid which is exactly what the Cybex Eagle does. The location of the medial deltoid varies from person to person and most lateral raise machines are not designed to accommodate these differences. Cybex has designed the Eagle Lateral Raise to align the muscle with the movement so that users are training the muscle they expect to.

LESS SHOULDER STRESS

Long input arms with self-adjusting grips provide loading through the hand. Resistance in the hand (rather than above the elbow which is common in some lateral raise machines) reduces stress at the shoulder joint.

SECURE FEELING

The adjustable chest pad provides reference and stabilization. To accommodate the greater need for a feeling of stability from a kneeling position (as opposed to the traditional seated position of the lat raise) Cybex designed Eagle so that user stability is accommodated.
