Julia Dalgleish has spent over 15 years working within the private and corporate sectors of the Fitness Industry,
instructing, educating, coaching and consulting. Her joint honors degree in Physiology and Psychology led the way to advanced
studies in health & fitness, Pilates and becoming an NLP practitioner.
In her role as Director of Training for one of the UK’s largest training providers, she spent 6 years training the trainers
and assisting the development of the National Operating Standards in Coaching, Teaching & Instructing. She authored The
Health & Fitness Handbook, the supportive text to the National Vocational Qualification, in the United Kingdom.
Julia is currently an Associate and Coach for K2 Performance Systems, a Facilitator on the 10 Minute Gym Program and delivers
foundation and advanced seminars for Everyone Active, Sports and leisure Management. She runs obesity clinics based in Bristol
and Cornwall and specializes in the coaching of seniors, GP referral and ante & postnatal clients and groups.
Previously a member of the Welsh rugby squad, she is now a keen and active mountain walker, having summited all of the Wainwright
peaks and Mount Blanc with a current eye towards the Matterhorn.
