VARIETY AND VERSATILITY
Select a pattern of motion...or...let the machine do it for you. Dual Axis Technology® is a Cybex patented strength training mechanism that provides variety and versatility for the most complete workout. Standard selectorized equipment trains muscles from a single direction that is defined only by the machine. Using our unique Dual Axis Technology® Cybex Eagle selectorized offers the option to train in either the machine-defined pattern of motion...or to move in a different pattern...one defined completely by the user.
NO TWO ARMS ARE ALIKE
Cybex uses independent movement to train each arm according to its need. By allowing the arms to move independently of each other, Eagle delivers the ability to balance the workout when one arm is weaker or injured. Independent movement encourages symmetrical strength development and also allows for bilateral reciprocal training.
ARMS MOVE THE WAY THEY'RE SUPPOSED TO
The converging path of motion of Eagle Chest Press mimics the natural way the human arms move...forward and to the center...not straight ahead. Eagle Chest Press by Cybex provides a more complete range of motion with constant torque at the shoulder. Adding Cybex Dual Axis technology® gives an added dimension by augmenting the converging motion with the option for a user-defined motion.
SAFE NEVER FELT THIS GOOD
The unique Cybex start position adjustment design assures that the preset range of motion is never exceeded and the fit of the machine to user is perfect. Unlike many other chest press machines, Eagle does not use a foot kick plate to help the arms get into the proper position to begin exercise. With Eagle, the seat back adjusts to the comfortable start position which ensures safety is not compromised in the event muscles weaken and exercise has to end before the feet can get back to the footplate. Adjusting the back pad means that tall and short users will fit perfectly as compared to machines that adjust the arm – forcing taller users into a narrow position and shorter users into wider positions than ideal.
