FEATURES & BENEFITS

Dependent Movement
The dependent movement of VR1 means that the machine leads the user so that both arms work as though they are tied together. This provides a feeling of security to new and average users. By having both arms working together in a fixed plane, exercise feels better controlled for a comfortable and secure training movement.

Adjustable Start System
VR1 adjusts the Start Position over a typical Start Range. Because each individual has a different range of motion, the adjustable start makes VR1 user-friendly to a wider audience.

Optional Increment Half-Weight System
Using the VR1 half-weight add-on, users can more finely tune their weight selection. In a standard weight stack where each plate is 15 lbs, the incremental half-weight selector will add 7.5 lbs.

Adjustment Features
Knobs are always positioned toward the user so they are readily visible. Big, bright, and yellow - you don't have to guess where to adjust the weight increment or leave your seat to do it. Optional gas assist is available for seat bottoms.

Fully Enclosed Weight Stacks (A)
Fully enclosed weight stacks give a sleek appearance. However, they also shield bystanders and users from inadvertent contact with the moving weight stacks, part of the CYBEX commitment to creating a safe workout environment. CYBEX VR1 is engineered for safety and all strength products comply with ASTM and EN standards.

Details (B)(C)
Ergonomically contoured molded pads provide better support and a more contemporary look. Big print placards use straightforward language and pictures for easy-to-read instructions. Many VR1 machines use CYBEX dry grip technology with a non-absorbent gripping material that provides extra security for the grip.

Cable Drive
VR1 drive system is cable-driven with cables that are inspected to meet military specifications for consistent quality.

Convenience Features (D)
VR1 has all the features users need, plus two features they'll find especially convenient - an integrated water bottle and towel holder.

Integrated Guide Rod Lubrication
CYBEX strength products are known for their quiet operation. The integrated guide rod lubrication capabilities not only keep the weight stack operation smooth and quiet - but constant lubrication helps reduce machine upkeep.
