Breast Cancer Research: A great cause

The American Cancer Society estimates one out of every eight women will develop breast cancer. 192,370 new cases of breast cancer were expected to be diagnosed among women in the United States in 2009, with 40,170 deaths. Breast Cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death in women, after lung cancer. One out of 208 breast cancer cases occur in women under the age of 40.
