Tour Player Fitness Routines
What many people don’t realize about tour players is just how hard these guys work on all aspects of their games. Yes, each of them has a ton of natural talent, but the vast majority look for every way to maximize their on-course performance by focusing on what they do before and after their rounds.
How Do I Add Distance to Shots?
Working as a strength and conditioning coach to international tour stars is certainly an interesting profession. So, whenever someone finds out what I do for a living, the chances are pretty good I’m going to be asked about what one star player or another is like away from the cameras. If the person I’m speaking with is a golfer, I can almost guarantee they’re also going to seek some casual advice on how to improve a certain aspect of their game.

How a Tour Player Warms Up
I strongly doubt anyone is ever going to say that warming up is their favorite part of playing golf. Maybe that’s why so many people simply ignore it. Just think, how many times have you seen someone go right from the clubhouse to the first tee? It’s likely you’ve also been guilty of taking the “quick swing, bend here, flex there” approach to loosening up before a round.
Why is warming up so important?
How to Improve Your Members' Game and Your Club's Bottom Line
I've been very fortunate in my professional career to have spent the past nine years developing fitness programs for and training the world's finest golfers. In addition to my responsibilities as the Strength & Conditioning Coordinator on the DePuy Mitek mobile fitness unit that travels week to week with the tour, I've traveled the globe designing first-class facilities for golf and country clubs, colleges/universities and high-end training centers.
