2010 Cybex National High School Strength & Conditioning Coach of the Year

Head Strength and Conditioning Coach – East St. John High School, Reserve Louisiana

Coach Tsuruda was awarded the Cybex National High School Strength and Conditioning Coach of the Year Award. Previously a Strength and Conditioning Coach at Tulane University, he is certified by the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches association and USA Weightlifting. A native of Honolulu, Hawaii, Tsuruda has trained 32 Division I All-American athletes along with a world champion in jui-jitsu, shooto fighting, and big wave boogie board riding. The Cybex Coach of the Year award was presented by Mike Mashburn, Executive Director of the PFSCC, for excellence in strength training and conditioning.
