What types of video signals are the E3 View HD embedded monitors compatible with?
Cybex E3 View HD embedded monitors are provided in two configurations to serve various markets around the world:

  • ATSC (digital) / NTSC (analog)
  • DVB-T (digital) / PAL and SECAM (analog)

Cybex E3 View HD embedded monitors are capable of receiving signals either from an antenna or cable provider, including High Definition (HD) channels.

ATSC / NTSC monitors are capable of displaying non-scrambled ATSC (digital) signals, non-scrambled QAM 64/256 signals and NTSC (analog) signals. The monitor does not provide for decryption of scrambled, premium channels or direct satellite feeds.

DVB-T / SECAM / PAL monitors are capable of displaying non-scrambled DVB-T (digital) signals and SECAM / PAL signals (analog). The monitor does not provide for decryption of scrambled, premium channels or direct satellite feeds.

When used with premium channels or satellite systems, a receiver is required for each channel desired. These signals are then combined in a RF modulator, amplified and distributed. Please consult with your AV, cable or satellite provider for installation.

The E3 View HD embedded monitors are MPEG-2, H.264 (DVB-T only) and MPEG-4 (DVB-T only) compatible.

How must the facility prepare for the installation? What will Cybex do for the installation?

The signal may be split provided that the signal strength remains between 75dB/uV and 80dB/uV at the individual monitors.

All video and cable requirements should be installed prior to delivery of the Cybex equipment.
